Young man found dead in Boston room

A YOUNG man from Kerala was found dead inside a room in Boston in the United States, according to reports. Local police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death.

The deceased, believed to be a student or professional from Kerala, was reportedly found after he failed to respond to repeated attempts to contact him. Authorities later entered the room and discovered his body.

Officials have not yet released the cause of death, and it remains unclear whether foul play was involved.

A post-mortem examination is expected to provide more clarity. 

The mortal remains of Kinsantakam Uwais Anwar, 17, son of Kunjammarakam Anwar Sadath and K. Laila, who passed away in Boston, USA, arrived in Kozhikode today (Monday).

The Janazah (funeral) prayer was held at Kannamparamba Mosque at 4:30 p.m.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to every one of you for your unwavering support, help, and hard work in making this incredibly difficult journey as smooth as possible. Your kindness, compassion, and willingness to help during this tragic time will always be remembered.

I would also like to extend my deepest appreciation and sincere gratitude to Ajmal. Words alone cannot adequately express how thankful I am for his extraordinary dedication, selfless service, and tireless efforts. Without his commitment and constant support, this journey would have been extremely difficult, if not impossible.

Owais's father, Anwar Sadath, and I have shared a lifelong friendship. We were engineering college classmates, roommates, and later lived together in Bangalore before coming to the United States. We are both from Kozhikode, and our families have remained close friends over the years.

When I received the heartbreaking news from Anwar's wife that Monday, I was completely devastated and speechless. She gave me a phone number and told me she had received a call from someone in the United States informing her about the incident. At that time, Anwar was traveling in Chennai and had not yet returned home.

I immediately called the number she provided. The call was answered by Manavendra Singh from the Indian Consulate. He confirmed that the information was true and assured me that there was no violence or foul play involved. He also advised me to contact Detective Thomas if I needed further details.

I then spoke with Detective Thomas, who confirmed the unfortunate news. He collected my contact information and informed me that the Boston State Police would be reaching out to me. Shortly afterward, the State Police called and explained that they needed someone locally in the Boston area to identify Owais's body.

At that very moment, almost like an angel sent by God, Ajmal called me. He introduced himself, told me that he lived near Boston, and immediately offered to go to the location, speak with the authorities, and do whatever was necessary to help. Without any hesitation, I informed the State Police that our friend Ajmal would be able to assist with the identification.

From that moment onward, Ajmal devoted himself wholeheartedly to this responsibility. He worked tirelessly and selflessly, coordinating with the Boston State Police, the Indian Consulate, the Malayalee Association, Mohanji's team, and many others. He handled every task with remarkable dedication, sincerity, compassion, and professionalism, ensuring that every step of the process moved forward smoothly.

Throughout this difficult journey, Ajmal never once hesitated to help. He consistently went above and beyond, sacrificing his own time and energy to support the family during one of the most painful moments of their lives. His kindness, humility, and unwavering commitment made an immeasurable difference to all of us.

On behalf of Anwar and his entire family, I offer my sincere thanks to Ajmal and to everyone who stood beside us during this heartbreaking time. Your compassion, generosity, and humanity have been a source of great comfort, and we will remain forever grateful.
