Netanyahu to hold talks with Trump; Oman sends Hormuz plan

ISRAELI Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has arrived at the White House to meet United States President Donald Trump, with the US-Israeli war on Iran topping the agenda.

Oman presents a proposal to Iran ⁠for ⁠joint management of the Strait of Hormuz with “voluntary fees” that would ensure Tehran does not exercise sole control ⁠of the vital waterway.

Trump says Washington is having “very friendly talks” with Tehran but suggests he is not prepared for prolonged negotiations.
