Search complete: all seven onboard Qatar helicopter crash found dead

QATAR'S Ministry of Interior has announced the completion of search and rescue operations following the helicopter crash in the country’s territorial waters, confirming that all seven individuals on board have been found and their martyrdom has been confirmed.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed the deaths of Captain (Pilot) Mubarak Salem Duwaij Al Mari, Captain (Pilot) Saeed Nasser Samekh, Sergeant Fahd Hadi Ghanem Al Khayarin, and Warrant Officer Muhammad Maher Muhammad from the Qatari Armed Forces, as well as Major Sinan Tashktkin from the Qatar-Turkey Combined Forces and two ASELSAN technicians.

Specialised teams carried out intensive search efforts across the country’s territorial waters, coordinating high-readiness units to ensure a thorough and timely response.

The Ministry of Interior expressed its condolences to the families of the deceased, praying for mercy for the victims and patience for their loved ones.
