HE was born in the Edathody Family, an ancient farming family in Perur village, Lakkidi, near Ottapalam in Palakkad district. He excelled in art and cultural activities during his educational period.

He made his debut on the stage by playing the role of the head of the household in a play for the annual celebration programme of Perur A.S.B.S. (Aided Senior Basic School). He also acted in many plays, including the one-act play 'Shuddha Madhalam' at Pathiripala Govt. High School. He had won many awards for his excellent art and cultural performances.

In 1983, he temporarily left the art world as he was busy working in Saudi Arabia.  However, Bhaskaran, who was active in the social and cultural field, was actively involved in several service organizations.

Official activities

With 43 years of sales and marketing leadership quality in the Gulf, Bhaskaran has already expertly managed supplying relevant/required main products in drilling activities in oil production and other sectors of Saudi Aramco, the world's leading oil company in Saudi Arabia, bringing in qualified products from various countries (including India).

He has worked as the Trading Divisional Manager of a company, which mainly supplied cable & accessories and supplied drilling chemicals to the drilling divisions of the world-renowned Saudi Aramco.

He is currently working as the Director of Business Services for AQUACHEMIE, a company headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, looking after their activities with Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia.

Social and Humanitarian Services

He served as the President of the World Malayali Council (WMC), a US-based organization formed to connect Malayalis around the world, create a global Malayali community where they can communicate and collaborate, and maintain ties through future generations, thereby perpetuating the Malayali identity forever, in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, from 2014 to 2016.

He later served as the Vice Chairman of WMC Middle East. He was also the Patron of the Bahrain Chapter of Blood Donors Kerala (BDK), a voluntary organization whose members include many people who donate blood to various hospitals in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
