PT Usha’s husband passes away

V SREENIVASAN, husband of Rajya Sabha MP and President of the Indian Olympic Association P T Usha, has passed away, according to Mathrubhumi online.  

A native of Ponnani, Vengalil Sreenivasan (63) collapsed at his residence in Perumalpuram, Thikkodi, around 12:30 am on Friday. 

He was immediately taken to a private hospital in Perumalpuram, where he was declared dead.

Srinivasan had served as an inspector in the CISF.

P T Usha is currently in Delhi to attend a Parliament session. He is survived by their son, Dr Ujjwal Vighnesh.
