Malayalee Festival to launch major Wayanad AI and Data Center Park project
DURING the first-ever Global Malayalee Festival, there will be a Trade and Investment Meet and several Malayalees will be recognised with Global Malayalee Ratna awards.
Malayalee Festival Federation, a not-for-profit Indian company with NGO registration, is organising the first Global Malayalee Festival on January 1 and 2 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kochi. The festival is open to all Malayalees.
The major event of the festival is on January 1 evening, when the global delegates will network and celebrate the New Year. On January 2, there is full day morning and afternoon session of the first-ever Global Malayalee Trade and Investment Meet.
During the morning session, there will be presentations by various foreign business leaders, especially from Gulf countries, along with Malayalee business leaders.
The afternoon session is mainly focused on AI Technology and IT start-up companies. During the evening public session, 16 Global Malayalees will be recognised with Global Malayalee Ratna awards in various fields of achievements like lifetime business, contributions to Malayalee Community, Economy, Finance, Engineering, Science, Technology, Politics, Community Service, Trade, Business, Literature, Arts, Culture, etc.
Some other prominent Malayalees will be given special recognition for their personal achievements and contributions to the Malayalee community.
The festival finale is a gala dinner and orchestra. Kerala and central ministers, opposition leaders, political party leaders and many other special guests, especially from Gulf countries, are expected to attend on January 2.
On January 2 afternoon, a major announcement will be made on behalf of Malayalee Festival Federation for the establishment of Wayanad AI and Data Center Park in South Wayanad between Kalpetta and Nilambur as a public-private partnership project.
Kerala should be at the forefront of AI in India and the proposed AI and Data Center in South Wayanad will have AI innovation, development and training facilities along with a data center.
We will be working next year towards establishing this center with support from the Kerala state and central governments, along with venture capitalists. We look forward to media support for this unique project that will put Kerala in the forefront of AI.
