US vows ‘economic D-Day’; Tehran threatens Gulf oil exports

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says Washington aims to “sever every economic lifeline” that sustains Iran ahead of an expected announcement from the US to impose extreme economic sanctions against Iran.
