Kottayam native Robin J Elackatt re-elected as Missouri Mayor

ROBIN J Elackatt was re-elected as the Mayor of Missouri City in the US for the third time. 

Born in Kurumalloor Village in the district, Robin has been living in the US for the past 40 years. 

He served as the president of the Chicago Knanaya Catholic Youth League (KCYL) from 1992 to 1994. He was also the first president of the Knanaya Catholic Youth League of North America (KCYLNA).

His wife Tina, who hails from Changanassery in Kottayam Dist, works as an assistant physician. The couple has two daughters, Lia and Katelin.

He left his native village Kurumalloor when he was in class five as his parents, Eliyamma Philip and Philip Elackatt, migrated to the US.
