Global Malayalee Festival rescheduled for Jan 1 & 2, 2026 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kochi

MALAYALEE Festival Federation, an NGO registered in India as a Section 8 Not-for-Profit Company, which organizes the Global Malayalee Festival, has announced that the festival is rescheduled for January 1 and 2, 2026, at Crowne Plaza Kochi.
The festival is open to all Malayalees around the world, including those from India, and we urge everybody to plan to attend this great event. More details will be announced later.
The Global Malayalee Trade and Investment Meet is a major event of the festival.
Malayalee businesspersons from all over the world and business delegates from foreign countries are expected to attend, and investments in technology, tourism, and trade are promoted. There will be a trade and business exhibition also.
Another major event of the festival is the Global Malayalee Talent Presentation and Kerala Folk Arts Festival. Kerala folk arts like Kathakali, Theyyam, Kalari Payattu, Ottam Thullal, Mappila Pattu, Paricha Mutty, Mohini Attam, etc., will be showcased.
We also want to make it a family festival. We will arrange a family tour on the boat through the Kochi backwaters. The final gala dinner on August 16 will be a family fun event.

The festival will recognize high-achieving global Malayalees by giving Global Malayalee Ratna Awards in 17 areas: science, medicine, engineering, technology, economy, finance, education, business, arts, politics, community service, literature, cinema, industry, manufacturing, trade and charity work.
We expect many foreign dignitaries, including representatives of Royal families in the Gulf, the Finnish Prime Minister, Malayalee MP from the UK and South Africa, central cabinet ministers, the Kerala Chief Minister and PWD Minister, MPs, MLAs and political leaders. We will have Malayalee political leaders from foreign countries, like Mr. Sojan Joseph, Member of Parliament, United Kingdom, and Mr. Anil Pillai, Member of Provincial Parliament, South Africa.
Once again, we urge Malayalees from all over the world to plan to attend and come and enjoy the two days of the festival. This is the first time such an event has been organized.
