Body of missing Malayalee woman found in Ireland

 THE body of a Malayali woman who had been reported missing in Ireland has been recovered, reports Mathrubhumi online.

The remains were found in the sea near the Bray area.

The deceased has been identified as Aswathi Rajasekharan, an IT professional who had been working in Cherrywood, Dublin.

She was employed as an IT officer at a consultancy firm on Grafton Street in Dublin.

Aswathi had been reported missing a few days ago. Her friends later reached the hospital and identified the body.

Friends had filed a missing persons complaint after she was not seen following a Luas tram journey.

A search operation was carried out in the coastal areas of Dalkey and Killiney, involving the Coast Guard and helicopters.

Her laptop and bag were earlier recovered from near Dalkey Beach.

On Sunday morning, authorities confirmed that a body had been found in the Bray area.

Friends who arrived at the hospital later identified it as Aswathi. The body has now been kept at the mortuary of St. Columcille’s Hospital in Loughlinstown for post-mortem procedures.

Aswathi, who had moved to Ireland from Bengaluru, had recently received a job transfer to Letterkenny and was preparing to relocate when the tragedy occurred.
