9 killed, 10 hurt in Johannesburg shooting; 2nd mass attack in a month
Nine people were killed in a shooting incident in Bekkersdal township in the west of Johannesburg, South Africa, South African Broadcasting Corp News said on Sunday.

AT least nine people have been killed and 10 wounded in a mass shooting in the Bekkersdal township, west of the city of Johannesburg in South Africa, according to the police.
A manhunt is currently under way for those involved in the shooting, which took place at a tavern just before 1 am (23:00 GMT Saturday).
The attack is the latest in a string of mass shootings that have shocked the crime‑weary country of 63 million people, which suffers one of the highest murder rates in the world.
Earlier this month, armed men killed at least 12 people, including a three-year-old boy, in a mass shooting at a bar near the South African city of Pretoria.
