KSRTC back to Khaki uniforms after eight years

THE Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has decided to switch the colour of its employee uniform from blue to khaki, according to Mathrubhumi.

Previously, KSRTC staff wore khaki uniforms until a decision was taken in 2015 to transition to blue uniforms.
The male KSRTC drivers and conductors sport navy blue shirts and dark blue pants while their female counterparts wear navy blue churidar and overcoat.

According to the new government directive, the male staff will wear khaki pants and a half-sleeve shirt with a single pocket, and female employees will sport a khaki-coloured churidar and sleeveless overcoat.

Meanwhile, khaki-coloured pants and a half-sleeve shirt will be the uniform of the station master. The name board and their employee number are also a part of the uniform. The khaki safari suit will be the uniform of Inspectors.
