Tehran attacks Bahrain, Kuwait after US bombs Iranian coast

THE US has bombed Iran for a second day, hitting Qeshm Island and the cities of Sirik and Bandar-e Lengeh, after a drone attack on a commercial vessel near the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran says it has launched retaliatory attacks on US forces in Bahrain and Kuwait and warns of a “crushing response” to further attacks.

US President Donald Trump has accused Iran of violating the memorandum of understanding between Washington and Tehran and threatened to “militarily complete the job”.

Israel has bombed southern Lebanon, killing at least one person, a day after signing a framework agreement with the Lebanese government to end hostilities.
