AR and VR in Education brings big changes across the world

AR/VR technology in education is a game-changer. Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are revolutionizing education by providing immersive, interactive and engaging learning experiences, especially in STEM education.

Effective deployment of AR/VR entails collaboration among educators, policymakers and business leaders to enable access, develop pedagogical frameworks and construct teacher training programs.

The UAE government has taken impressive initiatives to mandate AI in the school education system by 2025. The NEP 2020 policy by the Indian government came up with an integrated learning system for aligning with the industry demands.

This is where a few experts (Dr Abdurahiman Chalil, Dr Ashin Shaji, Eng. TN Krishna Kumar, with a big team) came up with an innovative, emerging and immersive education experience at Metropolitan International Indian School in Ajman.

On 15 September 2025, the school is witnessing the inauguration of an AR/VR lab in Metropolitan International Indian School at Ajman with the presence of experts and enthusiastic students.
