Yeoman service by Dubai Bodhi Lions Club

DUBAI Bodhi Lions Club was formed in 2023 under Lions Club International by TN Krishnakumar (President of International Business Forum of WMC) with 40 professionals, all working for the benefit of “Children Of Determination” 24X7, 365 days a year. 

The members include therapists, special centre teachers, parents and well-wishers of Children of Determination who are connected with the clear vision of supporting and helping the children with Shankar Narayanan as President, Ramakrishnan as Secretary, Mani as Treasurer, Nisha Tandon as First Vice President and Gayathry Shankar as Second Vice President.

Dubai Bodhi Lions Club has undertaken many initiatives in the past 4 months, including a sports day event exclusively for the Children of Determination, a visit to Ras Al Khaimah desert to plant trees by the children and food distribution by the children to workers in labour camps.

The club has also hosted regular classes for children in art therapy, music therapy, block printing and cooking specifically designed for such children. 

Most recently the children visited many labour camps during the Holy month of Ramadan and distributed food to the workers. 

The club’s mission embodies a steadfast commitment to uphold the dignity of every individual, infusing its efforts with compassion and empathy.
