Following lunar success, ISRO sets sights on Venus and Mars missions

THE Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), India's space agency, is aiming to explore the vast solar system beyond the Moon and Sun. Following the extraordinary success of the Chandrayaan-3 mission, ISRO is now preparing for even more ambitious endeavours. 

Shukrayaan, a breakthrough endeavour to explore the elusive planet Venus, is one of these ambitious projects. With its thick atmosphere and tremendous heat, Venus remains a mystery to scientists, and ISRO hopes to solve it with its forthcoming expedition. 

ISRO is contemplating a sample return mission from the Moon to take its Chandrayaan series to the next level. This audacious step will enable scientists to gather and analyze lunar samples, furthering our grasp of the Earth's only natural satellite. 

ISRO is planning a Mars landing mission in addition to researching the Moon and Venus. With this proposed initiative, India wants to join the few nations that have successfully reached Mars. 

In addition to these outstanding achievements, ISRO has worked with NASA on the Indo-American jointly built NISAR satellite. The NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite will be critical in providing comprehensive and accurate data on the Earth's surface, advancing our understanding of the planet, and assisting in a variety of scientific efforts. 

Furthermore, with the launch of the SPADEX space docking experiment, ISRO is moving closer to creating an Indian space station. 

This experiment will be a critical step toward the eventual creation of a fully operational Indian space station. Recognizing the unforgiving nature of space technology, ISRO adopts creative cost-cutting strategies while maintaining high standards.
