AI revolution will impact everyday life
SINCE the early 1990s, when the World Wide Web was created, the last 30 years have revolutionized information technology; the creation of YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp, etc., along with the development of mobile phones and apps, has changed how we communicate and share information.
Location and distance are not an issue for communication between two people or groups of people. News, information and stories were developed through a new kind of media, not the regular news media. Human communication has expanded and communication has become easier around the world.
With the evolution of AI (Artificial Intelligence), communication through the use of intelligence without humans is going to expand the process to new heights. It is going to become limitless. AI will expand human power and the use of intelligence through its own intelligence when sometimes human wisdom will be questioned. This revolution has already started.
Within the next 3 to 10 years, the world and human beings will go through this revolution whereby AI will control everything that is happening. The way students are educated is going to change; educational institutions will play a different role; most of the manufacturing will be conducted by robots without the use of humans; diseases will be diagnosed without a doctor; scientific discoveries will be made without a scientist; and vehicles will be driven without a driver.
One of the major impacts of AI is a shift in job requirements. Most of the clerical and administrative work will be eliminated. Middle-level management may not be necessary. Supervisory management may not be necessary. All this means that there will be structural changes in jobs and organizational management.
There will be major changes in the healthcare industry. There will be major changes in how diseases are diagnosed and identified, how treatments are selected and how medicines are developed.
One of the major impacts of AI is how human-centric capabilities are changed. Human emotions and wisdom will be impacted by AI. The human way of life will be altered and new ways of life will evolve.
Just like mobile phones, WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, etc., changed our way of life, AI will drastically change the way we lead our daily life, how children are educated, how jobs are performed, how communication is conducted, how vehicles are driven, how diseases are diagnosed and treated, etc. It will be a big revolution in our everyday life.
