WMC America Region Women’s Forum launches blouse-stitching classes

THE Women’s Forum of the World Malayalee Council (WMC), America Region, has launched tailoring classes aimed at empowering women through practical skills and creative learning.

The programme, titled ‘Blouse Stitching Made Easy’, begins on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 4 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Designed for both beginners and those wishing to improve their tailoring skills, the classes will start with the basics, requiring no prior experience.

The initiative seeks to provide women with an opportunity to develop stitching skills, explore their creativity and build friendships through interactive learning across geographical boundaries.

The classes will be conducted at a fee of $10 per session. Interested participants who have not yet registered can join by contacting the organisers through WhatsApp at +1 (936) 380-3252.

The WMC America Region Women’s Forum said the initiative was part of its efforts to encourage women's empowerment, skill development and mutual support through community-based activities.
