Actor Ravikumar passes away at 71
VETERAN actor Ravikumar Menon passed away at a private hospital in Chennai on Friday around 9 am. The 71-year-old breathed his last while undergoing treatment for cancer.
His mortal remains will be taken to his residence in Valasaravakkam, Chennai, and the funeral will be held on Saturday.
Besides Malayalam, Ravikumar, born in Thrissur, has acted in Tamil movies and serials. He has acted in more than 100 South Indian films. He played lead roles during the 1970s. He came to the Malayalam film industry through his debut movie, Ullasa Yaathra (1975).
