US President Donald Trump on Friday (March 29) announced on Truth Social that he had an “extremely productive” call with the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney.
Trump stated that he and Prime Minister Carney "agree on many things."
He announced plans to meet with Carney immediately after the Canadian election to discuss "elements of Politics, Business, and all other factors" aimed at benefiting both the U.S. and Canada.
“I just finished speaking with Prime Minister Mark Carney, of Canada. It was an extremely productive call, we agree on many things, and will be meeting immediately after Canada’s upcoming Election to work on elements of Politics, Business, and all other factors, that will end up being great for both the United States of America and Canada,” Trump wrote.
