Railways announces new package tours to Andaman and Nicobar Islands and North East
IRCTC has announced a 5 night 6 days tour to Andaman and Nicobar Islands, starting from 6 November to 24 November. The package includes visits to various islands and beaches, with prices starting at ₹27,450 for triple occupancy.

AS the Diwali holidays are around the corner, the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled its 5 nights 6 days to Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
The Andaman and Nicobar Islands, which have white sand beaches, are made up of beautiful islands that range in size from large to small to inhabited to uninhabited. This Diwali, IRCTC will be operating daily tours starting from 6 November to 24 November.
The tour will start from Port Blair. Areas that will be covered in the 5 nights 6 days package include Port Blair, Neil, and Havelock.
Itinerary: The itinerary includes visits to places like Corbyns Cove Beach, Cellular Jail, Ross Island, North Bay Island, Havelock Island, Kalapathar Beach, Famous Radha Nagar Beach, Neil Island, Natural Bridge & Laxampur Beach, Bharatpur Beach.
Tour dates: The package has daily departures from Port Blair starting from 6 November to 24 November.
Package cost: The price for 5 nights 6 days package starts at ₹27,450 for triple and ₹30,775 for double occupancy while for single occupancy, the package will cost ₹52,750. For a child with a bed (5-11), the package will cost ₹17,000 and for a child without a bed (2-4 years) it will cost ₹13,550.

'North East Discovery' tour on Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist train
The Indian Railways, in collaboration with IRCTC Ltd, is all set to commence a specially curated 'North East Discovery' tour on Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist train from 16 November, aiming to promote the North Eastern states of India.
The train will commence from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station and over the 15-day tour, it will cover Assam – Guwahati, Sivasagar, Jorhat and Kaziranga, Tripura – Unakoti, Agartala and Udaipur, Nagaland – Dimapur and Kohima and Meghalaya – Shillong and Cherrapunji.
The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist train is equipped with numerous features including restaurants, a flameless kitchen, shower cubicles, sensor-based washroom functions, a foot massager and a mini library.

The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train launch is in line with the Indian government's initiatives 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' and 'Dekho Apna Desh' to encourage domestic tourism.
Tour package:
The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist train tour package will be a 15-day all-inclusive tour package with a train journey in respective class, night stay at AC hotels, all meals (vegetarian only), all transfer and sight-seeing in buses, travel insurance, services of tour escort etc.
Apart from this, all necessary health precautionary measures will be taken care of.
Features:
This train is equipped with modern features including two dining cars/restaurants, a contemporary kitchen (flameless), shower cubicles in AC I and AC II coaches, sensor-based washroom functions, a foot massager and a mini library. The fully air-conditioned train provides three types of accommodation viz. AC I, AC II and AC III.
Among others, the train also has enhanced security features like CCTV cameras, electronic safes and dedicated security guards appointed for each coach.
